Kent Surf School is owned and run by myself Andy Webb (aka Shaggy), I started surfing Viking Bay Broadstairs in 1993. Taught the basics by old time Paul Watkins (Bear) and starting on a Bodyboard. I soon realized the potential of the Kent coast and within a season I progressed onto a surfboard.

 I have spent much of my time over the years traveling and as well as surfing most places in the UK. I have surfed all over the world including many Indonesian islands, Australia, California, Florida, The Canaries, France and 

After all this there is nothing more enjoyable than a good surf at home with your friends. You will see me in the water most of the time if there is a wave no matter what the weather or time of year. 

I am an ASI Surf & SUP Instructor, trained and qualified at Harlyn Surf School in Padstow, Cornwall. I am a qualified Surf Beach Lifeguard and first aider.

I am also a volunteer life boat crew member with Margate RNLI.
